Set the car heating correctly !

- How to use a car heater outlet -
Do you need to use car heating?
But do not know how to do?
- Calm down, we help you connect your car to the car heater outlet!
You may need to connect your vehicle to a power outlet for engine heating / interior heating, but are not quite sure how to do it?
It can be a bit tricky to set the time correctly, and all outlets have slightly different features for how to set the time.

What is common for most car heater outlets is that you should first set the clock (current time) and then set the time when you want to use your vehicle. The electrical outlet will then be powered in good time before leaving so that the car heater can keep the car warm.
Often it is intended to use the keypad (4) to increase the time – forwards or backwards – and sometimes you have to press both buttons and sometimes just one button!
Here’s how – 5 steps:
Examples of a car heater outlet, adapted for two vehicles
Review of the various parts of the socket
1. In this electrical outlet, connect the power cord to your car. The outlet for engine heat / interior heating usually sits somewhere near the bumper of the car. It is often a special type of grounded cable (with three pins) to use, which is extra safe to use outdoors.
2. This is an earth fault switch / personal protection switch. It determines if there should be an earth fault somewhere in the equipment. If the earth fault switch should turn on, you can often reset it yourself using the tab.
3. Test button for the earth fault switch. This button can be pressed periodically to check that the switch is working.
4. Buttons to set the clock / departure time. Start by setting the clock (current time) by holding down both buttons so that the time starts to flash. Then press one of the buttons until you find the current time. After a while, the numbers often stop flashing.
To set the time for when you want to use your car, press one of the buttons. Then step on one of the buttons until you find the right departure time. After a while, the clock (current time) starts to appear again.
5. This is a reset / reset button. Often you need to unscrew a screw first and insert a stick into the hole so that the socket is reset. When the socket is reset, all settings that you have deleted are removed and the socket is restored to its factory settings. On some models of sockets, both buttons should be pressed for at least three seconds instead.
.
Car heater outlet information
It can be a little tricky to understand how to use a socket for car heaters.
Our experience is that many people do not manage to set the clock / departure time correctly, with the result that their vehicle is cold when they want to use the car.
It can be good to spend a few minutes at the outlet and try to get the hang of how everything works.
It is basically the same principle when setting a car heater outlet, as when setting your clock radio.
You can use both electric motor heater and interior heater for your car. This increases the possibility for the car to start and for a comfortable car ride.
