Information about this waistband
Buying straps feels like the most unnecessary expense you have, next to laundry detergent. Therefore, you can save on the cost of life belts by taking an old electric cord that you still do not use and making a life belt of it.
The strap becomes stylish, modern, easy to put on and it lasts for many, many years. And if it breaks, just take a piece of power cord and make a new belt!
We have also tried to use grounded power cable (with three conductors), but unfortunately it was not as easy to connect.
Good luck !
