Välkommen till webbplatsen "Titta på solen på nära håll !"

- En webbplats där du kan se nytagna närbilder av solen, och med stor optisk precision, får vara med om det som försiggår på solens yta - i realtid !

Med hjälp av webbsajten "Helioviewer.org", skapad av rymdorganisationen NASA, kan vi visa dessa solbilder, tagna med tolv olika filter, från fem olika observatorier runt om i världen - Solar Dynamics Observatory, Solar and Heliospheric Observatory, Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory, Project for OnBoard Autonomy 2, och Yohkoh (Solar-A).

På solens yta kan man bland annat se sprutande plasma som ibland rör sig i bågar, och man kan även se de mörka solfläckarna, vilka förändrar sig från dag till dag.

Den inledande texten beskriver vilken ljusdetektor och vilket mätinstrument som användes, när bilden togs.

Genom att klicka på bilderna kan du förstora dem, och du kan då även se den exakta tiden när bilden togs.

Welcome to our website "Look at the sun up close !"

- A website where you can see newly shot close-ups of the sun, and with great optical precision experience what is happening on the sun's surface, in real time.

By using the website "Helioviewer.org", created by space agency NASA, we are able to show these images of the sun, shot with twelve different filters, from five different observatories around the world - Solar Dynamics Observatory, Solar and Heliospheric Observatory, Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory, Project for OnBoard Autonomy 2, and Yohkoh (Solar-A).

On the solar surface you might observe squirting plasma, which sometimes moves in looping arches, and you are also able to see the dark sunspots, which alter from day to day.

The initial text describes what kind of detector and what measuring instrument they used when they took the picture.

By clicking on the images you can enlarge them, and by doing so it is possible to see the exact time when the picture was taken.
